The City on the Edge of Forever … Sacred Contracts …
Thank you Gene Roddenberry for the classic Star Trek episode, The City on the Edge of Forever, and Harlan Ellison for the original teleplay that it was based upon.

“Inter lifetime is a long and wonderful phase of experience at the human species consciousness pool, which to us looks like a huge city constructed with light.
“The humans in inter lifetime can mentally reach out from their own thought projection to socialize, experience anything they wish, and draw on the information available here. They simply change their mental focus with intent to explore, experience or study a topic similar to the way we use the internet here to access information, meet and socialize with people, and create virtual alternative lives without leaving our home.
“All humans come through this level of experience before physical life. This was where we planned potential experiences that we are learning from in this lifetime on earth.” — Gretchen Vogel, Choices in the Afterlife – What we can do and where we can go after death {before the next life}
Gretchen, who has a web site, http://www.howspiritworks.com, and who, through her writing and work through her psychic readings with the deceased for family members, is attempting to de-mystify death … It is her wish for her book to be a comfort to those who have lost a loved one and that it may it ease their grief.
Gretchen has observed that:
“Everyone has a different afterlife because everyone has a different perspective that is unique and their own. Our afterlife reality is as subjective, or viewed through our personal filters, as was our physical life.”

Note: These insights come from the psychic readings that Gretchen does with the deceased for family members.
I remember Syd Hart, a member of my “soul family,” who took that stage name from (Gautama) Siddhartha (Buddha) …
Syd, a Celebrity Centre New York [CCNY] student, was the first person [Have there been any since? …] to utilize the Church of Scientology’s L. Ron Hubbard Theatre (before the building was rebuilt), for a play performance. She produced and starred in a full-length play, Shakespeare’s Measure For Measure with her Epiphany Group Theatre troupe, and received a special commendation and a personal copy of the L. Ron Hubbard Art Book as a gift from CCNY for her leadership.
Syd, you’re right about my being “so three-dimensional.” I’m working on that
Thanks to a book called SACRED CONTRACTS – Awakening Your Divine Potential, by gifted medical intuitive Caroline Myss, I am aware that:
There is a “Buddhist tradition of the noble friend or soul companion” … who “will not accept pretension but will gently and very firmly confront you with your own blindness.” No one can see life totally “as there is a blind spot in the retina of the human eye.” …“We have Contracts {before we come into the body} with many people {to be} in our lives. Imagine that upon incarnation, each soul splits into countless fragments” …
“You know when you meet people who radiate something that is deeply attractive to you, and you may feel empty when they are gone … We all have many soulmates who play very different roles in our life. Perhaps noble friend is a better term. These are the people you are not simply destined but are required to meet … if you have a Contract you will meet up eventually, perhaps many times, until you complete any unfinished business in the exchange of your souls …Your family, friends, mates, lovers, close working partners, and even your adversaries are all part of your agreements to learn certain lessons on earth.
