The Word: The Convoluted Relationship to Sex and Gender via Symeon Rodger

One of the facets of the “new earth” consciousness” that we all — men as well as women — can be grateful for is the process of “unplugging from the patriarchy,” such as Lucia Rene and others speak of, without animosity by the way.

What could be more polarizing, and by the way un-natural, than women vs. men based upon the patriarchal foundation / “interpretation” of the biblical Garden of Eden story … while dropping out the truth that the Word of God or Jesus was in no way {no way} originally meant to establish women as “temptresses” or evil or any of that misogynist mythology … What it was, was a “fall” IN CONSCIOUSNESS! “Tradition,” ya know … Except that the so-called traditions have been buried or falsified and used to promote separation …

I came across a post by Dr. Symeon Rodger, at, within which he highlights an insightful video by Sheila Kelly.

Why didn’t I know this years ago 🙂 , Dr. Symeon? … Well … of course we know why: It’s the “anti-nurturing” programming that we breathe in … the letting in of toxic [stereotypical] thought-forms which become our beliefs, and, without inspection, which we have tried to emulate …

As I experienced on one of Dr. Symeon’s courses on Qigong … that went way beyond qigong and the need, in exercising, to take one’s muscles tendons and bones through their full range of motion … he is on-point on more than one level … and he is right on-point when he says that: “One thing is certain: equality is not enough, and sexual freedom is not enough. Real relationship, meaningful relationship between the sexes on the basis of equal partnership, whether in a romantic relationship or in everyday life, is a skill that much of our society has yet to rebuild.”

I would add that what Dr. Symeon speaks of is a global issue tho it may be, as he says, that there are some “authentic ancient traditions of each sex having something to learn from the other, and that in the (Eastern) Orthodox tradition” that he is familiar with and a part of, “female saints are often described in terms that in Greco-Roman culture were stereotypically male — strength, warriorship, perseverance, wisdom, courage and so on — while male saints are often noted for stereotypically feminine virtues of gentleness, humility, compassion and so on,” the toxic thought-forms of which he speaks have taken root around the world …

And the resulting behavior / violence against women and girls is not at all limited to the west. Put differently, how many citizens of earth believe in their heart of hearts as rapper KRS 1: “Before I am a man, I am a human being … before I am a human being, I am a spirit,” or something comparable? …

As we are all connected / we all have the same divine,  life-force energy flowing through us, I ask you to consider this:

While most white folks for example would not likely join the KKK or  put on a white sheet and go out and kill black folks, do not those who bad-mouth / slur / harbor hatred or resentment toward people of color contribute toward such events happening somewhere in the world? … Similarly, while by no means every man would rape a woman or girl, or commit domestic violence, do not those who harbor hatefulness / resentment toward women / slur them with words used to dehumanize … also contribute toward such happening? … And is it not true that “mercy killings” are a standard practice in some parts of the world? …

If not for the “standard operating procedure” of collaboration between “third world”  and “western” countries — despite the best efforts of some such as Congressman Chris Smith

  •  › specialfeatures

— would it be possible for human trafficking to still exist? … Can there be any doubt that the widespread beliefs Dr.Symeon Rodger speaks of are global / planetwide, not limited to any one culture or ethnic group? …

It is Universal Consciousness that is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent …

“The All is in all … All is in The All” — The Kybalion

“I am in the Universe … The universe is in my body … I and the Universe are combined together,” as I have learned from Spring Forest Qigong Master Chunyi Lin

This morning, the following came to me  as I thought that while meditating … and  contemplating of what I understand to be Genevieve Behrend’s concept of the Universe being able to create form from our thoughts … provided our frequency is high enough … of what I understand to be the Universe picking up what we “broadcast” and knowing what it is that we wish … the following came to me:

Being Connected to source … Conscious Co-Creation

It is actually the Universal Consciousness … that connects us all … which is thus omniscient {all-knowing} and omnipotent {all-powerful} … having the ability to create that which we desire … Although we may not have control over how the manifestation will come about — such as in what way/steps or synchronicities will occur, or with whom.

Of course! Isn’t this what I already know from experience when I do my Reiki exercises every day … which of course starts with saying{three times}: “I open myself to Divine love and wisdom … Oh — as I have a good-natured laugh at myself for not “putting this together” sooner, as the Universal Consciousness I speak of is the same intelligent Energy/Life Force of Reiki which connects us all 🙂

(One does not necessarily need to believe in a God who/which needs to be worshipped on bended knee, as is the fashion of some religionists.)

It is indeed true, as Susan Shumsky has reminded us, that:

“The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no one could have dreamed would have come their way.”

BE in Stillness … Awaken to Thoughts and Beliefs that have not been conscious

The Marriage of the Soul and the Spirit:
The Subconscious and Superconscious Mind
(REIKI: Intelligent Energy of the Spirit of Creation: “I open myself to divine love and wisdom…”)

Chapter 1: The Game

There are three departments of the mind, the subconscious, conscious and superconscious. The subconscious, is simply power, without direction. It is like steam or electricity, and it does what it is directed to do; it has no power of induction.

The conscious mind has been called mortal or carnal mind.

It is the human mind and sees life as it appears to be. It sees death, disaster, sickness, poverty and limitation of every kind, and it impresses the subconscious.

The superconscious mind is the God Mind within each man, and is the realm of perfect ideas.

In it, is the “perfect pattern” spoken of by Plato, The Divine Design, for there is a Divine Design for each person.

There is a place that you are to fill and no one else can fill, something you are to do, which no one else can do.”

In reality it is man’s true destiny (or destination) flashed to him from the Infinite Intelligence, which is within himself.

Every personal connection has meaning …

It has come to my attention {awareness} that many, if not most, of my closest relationships this lifetime have been/are  with beings {some of whose bodies have manifested serious dis-ease} who come this lifetime in female bodies.

Now … although I know and am informed, via sound healer Tom Kenyon’s channelings of the inter-dimensional beings known as Hathors, that the spirit does not have gender, this observation nevertheless amuses me …. and has some meaning … which I do have an idea of … For one thing, it appears that “somebody” is telling me that — along with balancing my own masculine and feminine elements {yang and yin, which we all have to greater or lesser degree or in proportions}, as in my practice of Chunyi Lin’s Spring Forest Qigong, I am evolving not only toward healing myself … but toward helping “other” people heal …

Relationships between women and men, men and women, women and women, men and men are not “one-size-fits-all.” Some males {and females, in their way} who like to play the role of pick up artists do understand something about rapport … However, they are “stuck in” a 3-D dead end / lowest common denominator / monkey mind reality if they are blind to the variations of “noble friends”* we may have and care only for sexual one-on-ones or “bonding” with their (drinking) buddies… while otherwise believing in being “separate” from “others”… who they often manipulate and then “kick to the curb.”

I leave you with this — which I included in a previous post on this blog:

Thanks to a book called SACRED CONTRACTS – Awakening Your Divine Potential, by gifted medical intuitive Caroline Myss, I am aware that:

*There is a “Buddhist tradition of the noble friend or soul companion” … who “will not accept pretension but will gently and very firmly confront you with your own blindness.” No one can see life totally “as there is a blind spot in the retina of the human eye.” …“We have Contracts {before we come into the body} with many people {to be} in our lives. Imagine that upon incarnation, each soul splits into countless fragments” …

“You know when you meet people who radiate something that is deeply attractive to you, and you may feel empty when they are gone … We all have many soulmates who play very different roles in our life. Perhaps noble friend is a better term. These are the people you are not simply destined but are required to meet … if you have a Contract you will meet up eventually, perhaps many times, until you complete any unfinished business in the exchange of your souls …Your family, friends, mates, lovers, close working partners, and even your adversaries are all part of your agreements to learn certain lessons on earth.”

“This changes everything”: Why I am able to say: Spirit Is Real, and the Basis of Energy Medicine

The universe is actually a vast system of penetrating energy that responds to our thoughts, feelings and beliefs

Master Chunyi Lin:  Spring Forest Qigong practitioners operate in the spirit of: not just being  in the {spirit or physical}universe,  but  being combined with the  universe — to my mind — in the spirit of the Divine Matrix of the 1887 Michelson-Morley Experiment**, that Gregg Braden speaks of on YouTube.*

The Game of Life and How to Play It — Florence Scovell Shinn

“There is an old legend, that Adam and Eve ate of “Maya the Tree of Illusion,” and saw two powers instead of one power, God. Therefore, evil is a false law man has made for himself, through psychoma or soul sleep. Soul sleep means that man’s soul has been hypnotized by the race belief (of sin, sickness and death, etc.), which is carnal or mortal thought, and his affairs have out-pictured his illusions.

“Resistance is Hell, for it places man in a “state of torment.”  Fear is misdirected energy and must be transmuted into faith. We see the great law of transmutation, founded on nonresistance.

“Any inharmony on the external, indicates there is mental inharmony. “As the within, so the without.” Man’s only enemies are within himself. “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.”

“‘Bless your enemy, and you rob him of his ammunition.’ His arrows will be transmuted into blessings.

“The inharmonious situation comes from some inharmony within man himself. When there is, in him, no emotional {a letting go of any Human Emotion & Reactive} response to an inharmonious situation, it fades away forever, from his pathway.” As in: Why would I want to entrain to to someone whose “neurons are firing improperly,” i.e. someone whose vibration (chronic frequency) is inharmonious? …

Namaste: When you ARE in that place of Love and Peace within you {your heart or your Celestial Soul} AND I am in that place of Love and Peace within me, We ARE one {NOT separate}.

A Test for Spiritual Discernment: You CAN Do This: Flows, Dispersals, Ridges

Someone’s voice tone or mood or attitude can make you feel like they’re pushing you away or “ridging” against you {like a fire hose pushing an angry/opposing communication flow at you as you flow communication at them} or dispersing away from you to put their attention elsewhere – perhaps on some fear within {that you may have, unknowingly re-stimulated}.

Or {this feels good}: You can feel someone “start their internal love engine”*  and “move closer to you” {not necessarily physically} and put out a flow of agreement or rapport …

*Spring Forest Qiqong’s Master Chunyi Lin says: “S.M.I.L.E. stands for ‘Start my internal love engine.’” Thank you for that 🙂

Spring Forest Qigong: A Healing Practice That Opens the Energy Channels …

My opinion: Millions of people (in China and elsewhere), who have practiced, and are practicing, Qigong because of its great power of healing, for thousands of years can’t be wrong 🙂

Qigong uses mental concentration, breathing technique and body movements to activate and cultivate our “elan vitale” or vital energy, what is considered to be the universal life force as it flows through the invisible energychannels of the body.

Lest there be any doubt: I write this, in a spirit of sharing, as a new practitioner of Spring Forest Qiqong …

Master Lin reminds us that Jesus said that we can do what he did, and he says … Each time you are in front of your friend, says Chunyi Lin, you are letting the universal energy flow to you to pass it to your friend: You become a conduit to direct more healing energy to your friend …

This video on Spring Forest Qigong should give you some idea of Spring Forest Qigong, and I suggest you “take a look around” at the information generously provided by Master chunyi Lin and Learning Strategies …

Two examples of how Spring forest Qiqong teaches you to use your mind, body, and spirit together to unblock energy and balance yin and yang energy in the body may be found at

YouTube: Moving of Yin and Yang

YouTube: Sword Fingers

This link speaks of the scientific validation of Spring Forest Qigong.

“Gong,” in Spring Forest Qigong, means to work, use, practice, transform, cultivate, or refine this energy to create a healthy mind and body. We are all born with the vital and intelligent energy of Qi.

Master Lin teaches thatSpring Forest Qigong focuses on the use of Qigong for healing. Blockages prevent energy from flowing freely in our energy channels. These energy channels run throughout the body to keep it fully functioning.

Qigong has been shown to be effective in the prevention and healing of many diseases. (I am not aware of whether or not Master Lin addresses the question of the “true karmic roots” of what western medicine calls disease.)

We are formed by two kinds of Qi — yin and yang. Yin represents something female, passive, and spiritual; yang represents something male, active, and physical. Examples of yin are woman, water, earth, and spiritual life. Examples of yang are man, fire, sky, and the physical body.

Yin {female} and yang {male} energy must be in a good balance. Too much of one will cause an imbalance, creating an energy blockage. When a blockage forms, we feel symptoms in the physical body. We call it sickness. Colds, arthritis, and tumors are simply the symptoms of the imbalance of yin and yang.

Spring Forest Qigong was created by Chunyi Lin as a healing practice, although of course, it is spiritual healing in nature, and says Master Lin: If you have  unconditional love from the soul, forgiveness and kindness within, the universe will help you {be a conduit for your friend’s healing} … and help your purify and heal yourself spiritually and physically.

Falun Gong as taught by Master Li Hongzhi, which I have an earlier acquaintance with, was created as a spiritual cultivation practice, and does not help you to heal your friends or family  — unless they decide to become Falun Gong practitoners/believers.

Removing Blockages

As Rudy Hunter says: “There are reasons you’re stuck — They’re in your energy field!” Says L. Ron Hubbard in The Route to Infinity Lectures: “You’re a disintegrator pistol.” What might you disintegrate? … Seems to me: Blockages also known as: Ridges or  Facsimiles {mental image pictures of painful incidents} or stuck flows in your energy field.

According to Qigong, we have many energy channels in our body. There are twelve main channels and eight reservoir channels. Each channel serves a specific purpose. The main channels carry energy to wherever it is needed in the body. Extra energy in the main channels flows to the reservoir channels. The body draws on energy in the reservoir channels when the main channels run low.

Blockages in the main and reservoir channels prevent energy from getting to all parts of the body that need energy. Body functioning slows down or stops, and we feel sick. To get well, we have to remove those blockages and open channels. This rebalances the yin and yang energy. We open channels and remove blockages when we engage in   practices such as Qigong.

A perfect, or — I might say, true — healing would heal the body physically, mentally, and spiritually. Traditional healing techniques primarily help the body physically. Qigong opens the door for holistic, perfect healing of the body, mind, and spirit.

Qigong is an active and preventive way to heal the body. Medicine is a passive way to heal the body. Both approaches play an important role, but Qigong can potentially heal the body more effectively and perfectly.

“When our channels are not completely open, energy cannot flow easily to reach the organs that need energy. Part of the functioning of these organs shuts down. That is why we feel sick … We can use our mind to open up energy channels in our body … Once the channels open, more energy flows to the organs that need energy, allowing their functions to come back to normal and the sickness to disappear. That is why some people experience an overnight ‘miracle.’ Once the channels are open, you only need to keep them open to maintain that quality of health.”

Halloween decorations carry haunting message of forced labor of Falun Gong Practitioners

The World Knows

God bless The Oregonian for putting this forth:

By Special to The Oregonian
on December 23, 2012 at 9:00 AM, updated December 25, 2012 at 11:49 AM

The letter came in a box of Halloween decorations purchased at Kmart, but for a year Julie Keith never knew. It gathered dust in her storage, a haunting plea for help hidden among artificial skeletons, tombstones and spider webs.
Keith, a 42-year-old vehicle donation manager at a southeast Portland Goodwill, at one point considered donating the unopened $29.99 Kmart {Halloween}Graveyard Kit. It was one of those accumulated items you never need and easily forget. But on a Sunday afternoon in October, Keith pulled the orange and black box from storage. She intended to decorate her home in Damascus for her daughter’s fifth birthday, just days before Halloween.

She ripped open the box and threw aside the cellophane.

That’s when Keith found it. Scribbled onto paper and folded into eighths, the letter was tucked between two Styrofoam headstones.

The letter describes conditions at a forced labor camp in China.
“If you occasionally buy this product, please kindly resend this letter to the World Human Right Organization. Thousands people here who are under the persicution of the Chinese Communist Party Government will thank and remember you forever.”

The Graveyard Kit, the letter read, “was made in Unit 8, Department 2 of the Masanjia Labor Camp in Shenyang, China.”

Chinese characters broke up {in} choppy English sentences {appeared in the letter}:

“People who work here have to work 15 hours a day without Saturday, Sunday break and any holidays. Otherwise, they will suffer torturement, beat and rude remark. Nearly no payment (10 yuan/1 month).”

{Ten yuan is equivalent to $1.61}

“People who work here, suffer punishment 1-3 years averagely, but without Court Sentence (unlaw punishment). Many of them are Falun Gong practitioners, who are totally innocent people only because they have different believe to CCPG. They often suffer more punishment than others.”

The letter was not signed.

Shocked, Keith sat down as her mind reeled.

Wow, that’s daring, she thought. She imagined the desperation the writer must have felt, the courage he or she must have mustered to slip the letter into that box. If caught, what would happen?

Like a message in a bottle, the letter traveled more than 5,000 miles over the Pacific Ocean. It could not be ignored.

Unsure of where to start, Keith turned to Facebook.
“I found this in a box of Halloween decorations” she typed beneath a photo of the letter. She wanted to spread the message.

The Facebook post sparked a slew of responses. Her friends had heard of labor camp horrors. But a letter from one of those camps? Never.

“I’m sure that person feared for his/her life to include that letter in the products, but it was a chance they were obviously willing to take,” one friend wrote. “We take our freedom for granted!”

“What’s weird to me is someone is actually thinking about, and praying something comes of this … every day of their life since they sent it out,” another wrote. “Makes me sad this even happens”

Some friends offered help, others asked for updates.

The anonymous letter evoked skepticism, too. Written largely in English scrawl, it was almost too bold of an act to seem plausible. Still, U.S. authorities on China took note.

“We’re in no position to confirm the veracity or origin of this,” said Sophie Richardson, China director at Human Rights Watch. “I think it is fair to say the conditions described in the letter certainly conform to what we know about conditions in re-education through labor camps.”

China’s re-education through labor is a system of punishment that allows for detention without trial. Various reports allege followers of the banned spiritual group, Falun Gong, are sent to the reform camps – claims supported in the letter – but the facts are difficult to confirm.

Masanjia labor camp is located in the industrialized capital of the Liaoning Province in northeast China. A Google search of the camp yields pages of grim results.

“If this thing is the real deal, that’s somebody saying please help me, please know about me, please react,” Richardson said. “That’s our job.”

If truly created in a forced labor camp, the Halloween graveyard kit from Kmart’s “Totally Ghoul” product line could bring a blow to the U.S. chain of discount stores.

Title 19, section 1307 of U.S. Code generally prohibits the importation of all items “mined, produced or manufactured” in any foreign country by convict labor, forced labor and/or indentured labor.

After the Oregonian informed the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement about the letter, ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations began looking into the case, public affairs officer Andrew Munoz confirmed.

Sears Holdings Corporation, which operates Kmart, released a statement on the matter:

“Sears Holdings has a Global Compliance Program which helps to ensure that vendors and factories producing merchandise for our company adhere to specific Program Requirements, and all local laws pertaining to employment standards and workplace practices. Failure to comply with any of the Program Requirements, including the use of forced labor, may result in a loss of business or factory termination. We understand the seriousness of this allegation, and will continue to investigate.”

Daniel Ruiz, section chief of the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center’s commercial fraud unit, said it would be difficult to predict the length of an investigation like this, which would involve American and Chinese authorities. Investigative findings would be released, he said, only if the agency takes action.

Julie Keith now checks the label of everything she buys, down to the Gingerbread house she purchased for the holidays. Her friends, she said, do the same.

“If I really don’t need it, I won’t buy it if it’s made in China,” she said. “This has really made me more aware. I hope it would make a difference.”

Change Comes From Within: Reiki, Spring Forest Qigong and TNJ

Judith Conroy, founder of Chikara-Reiki-Do:

“Let’s take a little look behind the curtain …

“One of the most incredible things about Reiki, which almost everyone involved with the art, seems to want to deny is the fact that the energy of Reiki already lies within you.

“And perhaps the second most denied aspect is that the founder of our present day Reiki, Dr. Mikao Usui, actually attuned himself.

“The translated inscription on the memorial stone of Usui’s grave says:

Work on your heart and do things from the quiet space inside of you. Anyone can access Reiki, because it begins within yourself!”

Master Chunyi Lin: The “password” to get in to Spring Forest Qigong is: “I am in the universe. The universe is in my body. I and the universe are combined.”

From the teachings of Judith Conroy and Chunyi Lin … I now bring (the header* of) TNJ more into alignment with where I am going in my journey … serving others: facilitating/accelerating others in theirs:

Conscious Creation and Beyond: Peace comes from within … BE in stillness … Calm the mind and Let the heart take over … Images, Thoughts, Beliefs and Feelings are spirit … From the quiet space inside of you … They may be recognized or created … shifted or transformed … Energy blockages may be released … Heal yourself and may you let the grace and healing that others need flow through you from spirit

Qigong.comWaking Times

Over 4000 years ago Chinese medicine said, “Blood is the mother of Qi”. The Old Testament Leviticus 17:11, “For the life of the flesh is in the Blood.”

During Qigong practice people usually feel a powerful pulsation of blood in their body. Often it takes people by surprise how warm they feel after making just a few hand movements. Qigong moves a lot of blood and generates a lot of energy without lots of movement or stress.

Often people ask, “What is a Qi blockage?” It is simply a small area where the blood cannot go, or an area where disease can occur. For example, some people may have a knot in their stomach or bad digestion. Qigong usually improves this condition. Blood can work itself through closed off capillaries when a person is relaxed and increasing Qi in that area. Wherever Qi goes, blood follows. Normal healthy people use about 60% of the circulatory system. When our Qi increases this percentage is also goes up. Blood flow to the brain and organs is improved; therefore our health is greatly benefited. The electrical aspect of Qigong on the nervous system also plays a role. Using breathing techniques like nine-breath method we can create a full body vibration that everyone can feel. These electrical impulses travel along the nervous system and rejuvenate us.So how is this any different than jogging? In Qigong the body is totally relaxed, yet the blood is mobilized to flow powerfully. Because there is no stress response or cortisol release, which contracts blood vessels, the blood can enter areas that may have been blocked off for years. Microcirculation to the forehead is increased and digestion is greatly improved. Imagine the same blood circulation you get from jogging… while standing still completely relaxed. No other exercise offers this level of circulation to organs & glands. Stiff shoulders beware… Qi and Blood coming through.

Healthcare Practitioners REALLY need Qigong

Healthcare practitioners can prevent themselves from getting drained by seeing lots of sick patients. This is a fact for many therapists and nurses that I encounter. Each year we train hundreds of registered nurses and nearly all of them complain that they constantly feel drained. Often massage therapists take on the aches and pains of their clients. While this may sound superstitious I assure you the phenomena is real. Often doctors who specialize in a certain aspect of medicine are exposed to a certain “Energy Information Signal” so frequently that they end up with the same problems they are surrounded by. What is a healer supposed to do? By using Qigong one can easily cleanse their energies. Dianne Dougherty is a nurse that we trained who says she is no longer affected by other people’s energy after learning Qigong. Now she has energy to finish her shifts. She is dedicated to a daily practice.

Qigong in the Media

Oprah Winfrey’s favorite M.D., Dr. Oz said on her internationally viewed show, “If you want to live to 100… do Qigong.” He also said, “Qigong is the best longevity exercise”. After this November 1st, 2007 show I feel it is a short time before Qigong is embraced by the American mainstream audience. There are thousands of scientific studies that show Qigong has helped people to reverse cancer, diabetes and heart disease. If you want to read these scientific studies visit where you can find the largest database of scientific papers on Qigong’s effects.

Why practicing in Groups is the KEY

Healing occurs in Qigong when one raises their energy high enough to push through the blockages of the nervous and circulatory system. Whatever Qi touches will be rejuvenated by it, however people are often blocked and thus need stronger energy to clear the pipes so that the Qi/blood can circulate to the problem areas. Some schools teach that people need the help of a powerful master to send strong energy for that initial boost. After personally training with 7 high level Qigong masters I do not believe this to be true. The most effective way to begin the healing process is to enter a large group energy field. They knew it China when they repeatedly gathered 30,000 at a time and people were getting up out of wheel chairs. I saw a retired nurse enter our Qigong seminar wheeling a walker. On the 4th day she was walking laps around the massive ballroom without her walker. In all honesty, the Qigong is very powerful, but it is the group energy that turns it into overdrive. Every person has a magnetic field. When a group of even 3 people practice together the results are atleast double. A larger energy field is created than any of us could generate on our own at the massive Qigong events. Being in the group energy field is the fastest way to experience the powerful healing effects of Qigong and jumpstart one’s energetic expansion.

Synchronicity: Master Li Was Speaking of Research Initiated by LRH

From the “Department of Spiritual Synchronicities,” I pass this on to you. Master Li Hongzhi is the teacher of Falun Gong; L. Ron Hubbard is the founder of Dianetics and Scientology:

Master Li Was Speaking of Research Initiated by LRH

From {Zhuan Falun,} North American Translation, 2003 –Lecture 8

… Assimilating with True, Good, Endure, to the nature of the universe — you’ve got to live by Good. If you’re always doing bad things, can your gong grow? And can you get healthy? Aren’t you doing the opposite of us cultivators? Doing that counts as killing, it’s doing something awful! Now maybe some people will say, “You’re getting more and more far out — you called killing animals killing, and now you’re saying killing plants is killing, too.” But that’s the truth. In Buddhism they talk about the cycle of rebirth, and about how you could turn into a plant when you reincarnate. That’s what’s said in Buddhism, at least. We don’t put it that way, but I will tell you that trees are alive too, and they’re not just alive, they have sophisticated thinking.

I’ll give you an example. There’s someone in the United States who specializes in electronics research, and he teaches people how to use polygraphs. One day he was struck by a sudden inspiration and connected the two electrodes of a polygraph to a dragon plant. Then he watered its roots. After doing that he discovered that the needle of the polygraph quickly drew a type of curve, the same type of curve, it turns out, that’s generated by a human brain when it has an impulse stimulus. He was stunned, how could plants have emotions! He almost wanted to go out and shout in the streets, “Plants have emotions!” With the inspiration he got from all this, he soon opened up this field of research and did lots and lots of experiments.

There was one time when he put two plants together and asked one of his students to stomp one plant to death in front of the other one. Then he moved the other plant into a room, hooked it up to a polygraph, and asked five of his students to come in one at a time. When the first four students came in there wasn’t any response. But when the fifth student came in, the one who had stomped on the other plant, before he even got close, the needle right away started to quickly draw the kind of curves you see when a person is scared. He was amazed! It tells us something big: we’ve always thought that human beings are higher creatures, that they have sensory abilities, that they’re able to tell things apart, and that they can analyze things because they have a brain—so how come plants can tell things apart? Wouldn’t that mean they’ve got sensory organs? Before, if somebody said that plants had sensory organs, the ability to think, and emotions, or could recognize people, folks would have said he was full of blind belief. And it’s not just limited to this, in some ways it seems like plants surpass us people today.

One day he hooked a plant up to a polygraph and thought to himself, “What experiment should I do? I’ll burn off its leaves and see what reaction it has.” With just that thought—before he even did it—the needle quickly drew the type of curve you see only when somebody is crying for help and his life’s in danger. That supersensory ability, which has been called telepathy, is a human being’s innate ability, it’s an instinct. But today’s human race is degenerating. So you have to cultivate them from scratch, return to your original, true self, and return to your original nature — that’s the only way you can have them. Yet plants have them, they know what you’re thinking. It sounds far-fetched, but those were real, concrete scientific experiments. He did all kinds of experiments, including ones involving the ability of Remote Influencing. When his paper was published it caused a pretty big stir all over the world.

Botanists around the world have taken up research in this area. Our country is doing this, too. It’s not considered blind belief anymore. The other day I said something like this: what today’s human race has witnessed, and what’s been invented and discovered, is more than enough to change our current textbooks. But old concepts still …

From Mission Into Time –Introduction: Explorer Of Two Realms

On September 25, 1959, a local paper was able to record that “L. Ron Hubbard … whose researches in plant life at the Manor look like a revolutionizing horticulture, has carried out an experiment which points to the fact that plants react in much the same way to certain situations as do human beings.”

… London’s “Garden News” reported that “… it was this discovery that took interviewer Alan Wicker to East Grinstead. There Hubbard demonstrated his experiments with an electric galvanometer [E-meter] on a geranium plant. The reaction of the plant to the threat or “fear of death” … was shown by the oscillation of the needle on the galvanometer.

The plants were reacting on the E-Meter. Tearing off a twig or a leaf produced definite reactions not attributable to movement of the plant.

This proved prophetic for 13 years subsequent to L. Ron Hubbard’s findings, experiments on plant life reaction in Swiss, German, Russian, American British and Canadian scientific institutions have validated his findings in rigorous test conditions.

Cleve Backster (b. 1924) is a polygraph scientist best known for his controversial experiments with biocommunication in plant and animal cells using a polygraph machine in the 1960s which led to his theory of “primary perception.” He is currently director of the Backster School of Lie Detection in San Diego, California.

Backster began his scientific career as an Interrogation Specialist with the CIA, and went on to become Chairman of the Research and Instrument Committee of the Academy for Scientific Interrogation.

His course of study changed dramatically when he discovered the ability to measure galvanic skin response in plants in the 1960s. He first published his findings to these experiments in the International Journal of Parapsychology. The article was met with wide criticism of his research methods. Backster’s work was inspired by the research of Sir Jagadis Chandra Bose, who discovered that plants grow faster with pleasant music.

His biocommunications work is most famously discussed in The Secret Life of Plants by Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird. Backster himself published only one volume of his research findings, in 2003, entitled Primary Perception.

 Plant Research

His next {after Radio Research} contribution to science was in plant physiology. He forwarded a theory for the ascent of sap in plants in 1927, his theory contributed to the vital theory of ascent of sap. According to his theory the pumping action of the living cells in the endodermis junction were responsible for the ascent of sap in plants.

He was skeptical about the-then most popular theory in ascent of sap, the tension-cohesion theory of Dixon and Joly, first proposed in 1894. His skepticism on the same turned true when Canny proposed the most successful ‘The CP theory’ backed by strong experimental evidence. Canny experimentally demonstrated the sort of pumping in the living cells in the junction of the endodermis, which JC Bose demonstrated 60 years earlier.

His research in plant stimuli were pioneering, he showed with the help of his newly invented crescograph that plants responded to various stimuli as if they had nervous systems like that of animals. He therefore found a parallelism between animal and plant tissues.

His experiments showed that plants grow faster in pleasant music and its growth retards in noise or harsh sound. This was experimentally verified later on. His major contribution in the field of biophysics was the demonstration of the electrical nature of the conduction of various stimuli (wounds, chemical agents) in plants, which were earlier thought to be of chemical in nature. These claims were experimentally proved by Wildon et al (Nature, 1992, 360, 62–65). He also studied for the first time action of microwaves in plant tissues and corresponding changes in the cell membrane potential, mechanism of effect of seasons in plants, effect of chemical inhibitor on plant stimuli, effect of temperature etc,. And all studies were pioneering. He claimed that plants can “feel pain, understand affection etc,” from the analysis of the nature of variation of the cell membrane potential of plants, under different circumstances. According to him a plant treated with care and affection gives out a different vibration compared to a plant subjected to torture.

Shifting Consciousness from Unwanted Emotions in the Spirit of The Kybalion “Just for today”

Words, Thoughts, Feelings and Beliefs are spirit … In Stillness … they may become conscious and recognized or listened to … and shifted or transformed — From the Header to this Blog

Who, In Fact, You Really Are By Cosmic Awareness — The Law of Silence

“The silence is found within the soul and is not limited to sound but also relates to silence in terms of motion, emotion and feelings.”

What is “Cosmic Awareness”? For educational purposes — and acknowledgment of those who put forth the laws such as The Law of Silence — so you may go to their website at, I give you the following information:

“Cosmic Awareness is the Force that expressed Itself through Jesus, the Buddha, Krishna, Mohammed and other great avatars who served as channels for what is commonly referred to as “God.” The messages do not come from spirits, ghosts or discarnate entities, but directly from the source — Universal Consciousness.

“Early in 1962, a voice expressing itself as Cosmic Awareness began speaking through Ralph Duby, a university lecturer and ex-army officer who had been through the Bataan Death March in Philippines during World War II. The voice spoke whenever the subject was in a state of self-induced trance.

“Since that time, much valuable information has come through to us on this earthly plane from a source so high it staggers the imagination. The resulting flow of spiritual knowledge and the means of its practical application are similar to the work of Edgar Cayce, one of the most famous and documented psychics of all time.

“When the question was asked of Cosmic Awareness: “What is Cosmic Awareness?” we were told that Cosmic Awareness is the total mind that is not any one mind, but is the Universal Mind. It does not represent any unit other than that of complete and total Universality. We were told that we are all part of Cosmic Awareness and that we all have that God-cell within that can be contacted. {Note from Theta Networker: The Kybalion, too, states: “All is in THE ALL and THE ALL is in all.”} No need to run off to psychics or priests or spiritual mediators.”

Edgar Cayce Reading 2622-1

“Each soul’s entrance into material consciousness should represent to the entity the awareness that a universal consciousness, God, is aware of the entity’s purposes, the entity’s aims. And this consciousness represents an opportunity for the entity, in the material experience, to become a channel to glorify that purpose, that cause.”

  “The Enigma of Emotion”

Just what is this quality called human emotion? … how may we rise above unwanted emotions and … not “need to” manifest any emotion that is “wrong” to us or uncomfortable?

You And Your Brain, by Judith Groch, left me feeling that if paths of emotions do wind through so many levels that the trail is difficult to follow, and emotion/feeling itself is indeed private, invisible and know only to its originator/creator and then “floats out of reach, then emotion is so ephemeral that we have no need to be stuck on or in any particular emotion. That is to say: We created it out of our own “xing” or sentiment – as Falun Gong practitioners might say – “Why should we be {emotionally}be moved? … We ought to be able to “move on” from it, and in the spirit of what L. Ron Hubbard calls “the joy of creation,” intentionally create a new, more pleasing emotions or feeling at will even as we can self-create intentional sounds of differing frequencies as Jonathan Goldman has noted in his formula: VISUALIZATION + INTENT = MANIFESTATION. How may we make it so? … Applying the principles of the Kybalion looks like the way to me:

“As above, so below. As below, so above.” — The Kybalion – II. The Principle of Correspondence

The Kybalion – IV. The Principle of Polarity

The Kybalion V. The Principle of Rhythm

“Mind (as well as metals and elements) may be transmuted, from state to state; degree to degree; condition to condition; pole to pole; vibration to vibration. True Hermetic transmutation is a mental Art.” — The Kybalion, Chapter III  — Mental Transmutation

Tom Kenyon on The 23rd Psalm

Tom Kenyon explains the 23rd Psalm as a mantra that opens up/activates your celestial soul … which is not something outside of you … The connection is a shift of consciousness … the 5th dimension in your consciousness, which is outside of time and space … that still small place in consciousness where the small voice of your own divinity {not anything outside of yourself} can speak to you. And he notes: When you’re connected to your celestial soul {higher self}, there is no fear {no”unconscious”kickback or  reactivity} … Try out what I am suggesting in this post, and – as Colette Baron-Reid says in her chakra clearings: “experience what you feel” …

Let me know how it goes!

“Just for today do not anger”

Cultivating Compassion: Being Free of the Need to Respond in Like Kind Is Truly Necessary for Spiritual and Physical Health and Healing …

Masaro Emoto researched and wrote a visionary book entitled “Messages From Water,” and you may get some idea of the scope of his discoveries from web sites such as

The above is a picture of “Thank you” from Masaru Emoto’s work of recoding the crystalline structure of water in the presence of various sounds … music … words: dissonant and hateful as compared to loving and harmonic such as “Thank you.”

… Ever found resentment to be healthy? … How many people have you known who look like they’re “sucking on a lemon” who are actually healthy? …

What would stop a person from forgiving, but an attachment to the past? …

Falun Gong practitioners practice cultivating to higher levels of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance and the orientation is: “Why should I be moved [by trials and tribulations] to anger or fear [a human attachment], when I know that Master Li, Falun Gong’s teacher, has said that I should be thankful when I am suddenly faced with a tribulation by [the actions of] others … as this gives me a chance to strengthen my character as well as work off some karma and [self-] cultivate …

“Our highest task in living is to live from our soul’s deeper urges. The deepest desire of our spirits, our souls is to learn to love ourselves. This is a lifelong journey and one of the major steps to fulfilling our soul’s desire is learning to practice forgiveness of ourselves and others. When we put love in place of hatred or anger towards self and others, we free ourselves to live from our authentic selves and fulfill our own unique destinies. Forgiveness is a miracle that brings vitality and healing of body, mind and spirit.”

Medical intutitive Caroline Myss has observed healing to be blocked by the inability to forgive …

ThetaHealing’s Vianna Stibal has learned from her practice that:

If a person is cleared of what she calls programs of “the three R’s,” Rejection, Resentment, Regret, they will “open enough space in their mind to be able to move objects,” as “your mind spends an incredible amount of time on these three issues and the neurons of the brain are occupied with resentment and regret.” — ThetaHealing (paperback), page 92

How could the neurons of the brain be affected by emotions? … Check out the work of Candace Pert [Molecules of Emotion] or Bruce Lipton [The Biology Of Belief].

Come up to present time!

L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Dianetics and Scientology, wrote an article entitled What is Greatness? In it, he said that the greatest secret of the universe may be for man to be able to love his fellows in spite of all … The orientatation of a Scientologist, and many other spiritual practitioners, to the question of forgiveness might be to understand that a “ridge” [like two water hoses of equal force aimed against each other, and where they “meet” in the middle] is part an old facsimile [mental image picture] from an incident long past, and to “ridge on” [feel in strong opposition to] not forgiving someone for something they did to you … is to not be in present time and not healthy.

Sound healer Jonathan Goldman and Shamael, the Angel of Sound, Gregg Braden who has written Walking Between The Worlds — The Science of Compassion, Louise Hay, Darren Weissman who has written Awakening To The Secret Code Of Your Mind — Your Mind’s Journey To Inner Peace, as well as BodyTalk practitioners have come to believe similarly … based on their actual experience and life’s work

You may draw your own conclusions … I suggest it would be most healthy to emulate the behavior of a brother who, some years ago, when I impatiently bumped into him while running for a train in NYC — instead of getting angry at me as he “had a right to” — just looked at me and said, quietly, with a smile in his voice: “I hope you don’t drive like that” …
